The Mettle Academy offers a bespoke Mixed Martial Arts curriculum for children aged eight through 12 years called ‘Little Dragons’ designed to enhance character development skills such as respect, integrity, courtesy, self-esteem, concentration, confidence, and friendships. Whether your goal for your child is to achieve better grades in school, gain self-control, increase fitness or improve self-esteem, Mettle Martial Arts Academy’s Little Dragons program is ready to help your child achieve success!
The Mettle Academy’s Little Dragons program is designed to teach children from 8-12 years respect for themselves and others, self-discipline, and how to handle uncomfortable situations such as bullying and peer pressure.
Students enrolled in the Mettle Academy’s Little Dragons program learn a mixture of different Martial Arts and disciplines as they study some of the fundamental techniques found in Jeet Kune Do, Muay Thai, Muay Boron, Filipino Kali, Boxing, and Tae Kwon Do in a safe, controlled and encouraging environment. If the student has already trained in our Mini Dragons program, they will already have developed some of the fundamental body mechanics taught in class, but the Little Dragons program is also designed to teach these skillsets from the ground up for students who are new to the academy.
Students graduating from our Little Dragons program will have developed a strong martial arts base that will prove to be a great asset for our adult martial arts classes.
