The Mettle Academy offers a bespoke Mixed Martial Arts curriculum for children aged four through eight years called ‘Mini Dragons’, and for children aged eight through 12 years called 'Little Dragons'. The Mini and Little Dragons programs have been designed to enhance character development skills such as respect, integrity, courtesy, self-esteem, concentration, confidence and friendships. These traits develop naturally through the Little Dragons training process. Whether your goal for your child is to achieve better grades in school, gain self-control, increase fitness or improve self-esteem, Mettle Martial Arts Academy’s Little Dragons program is ready to help your child achieve success!

Our Mini Dragons and Little Dragons programs are designed to introduce children to the world of proprioception - the awareness of their own body, and how it moves, teaching children how to differentiate between their left and right and challenging both sides of their brain in order to coordinate both sides of their body. Students learn a mixture of different Martial Arts skills and disciplines as they study some of the fundamental techniques found in Jeet Kune Do, Muay Thai, Filipino Kali, and Boxing in a safe, controlled and encouraging environment.

Mini Dragons classes are both fun and challenging for students as they practice a range of different techniques that set the foundations that are further developed once they graduate into our Little Dragons program. Students graduating from our Little Dragons program will have developed a strong martial arts base that will prove to be a great asset for our adult martial arts classes.

Mini Dragons classes are held during SA public school terms on Monday nights from 5:30-6:15pm followed by Little Dragons from 6:15-7:00pm. Both classes are held at Unley Target Complex, 170 Unley Road, Unley. For details, please call Sifu Kade on 0422 254 286.
